Owlets

Owlets which fall out of the nest in early Spring usually have parents close by. In the case of a young Tawny Owls or Little Owls, provided it looks healthy, lift carefully and place the baby owl on a branch at head height so that it is less likely to be predated.
In the case of young Barn Owls (usually found in or near buildings/nestboxes), the baby owl must be put back in the nest otherwise it will starve!
